Road construction at Waterloo campus: July-August, 2017

Starting Monday, July 24, the City of Waterloo will begin the reconstruction of Marsland Drive between University Avenue and Columbia Street East. The main entrance to the east parking lot at the Waterloo campus will be closed until August 15 while the first section of work is completed. During construction, staff, students and visitors to the Waterloo campus can access the east lot through an entrance behind the Masonry Training Centre at the north end of Marsland Drive, off Columbia Street East. On August 15, work to realign the Weber Street parking lot entrance on the west side of the campus will also begin. This entrance will be closed for one week; parking and deliveries can be made through the east entrance during this time.


HVAC upgrades at Doon: July 31 - August 30, 2017

The HVAC system servicing Wings 1C, 2C and 2D in the main building at Doon will be limited from July 31 to August 30 as the result of an Energy Project retrofit and upgrade.


Health Services relocated to Recreation Centre: August 4 - September 1, 2017

As the result of construction, the Health Services office at Doon (Room 1A102) will be closed from Friday August 4 through Friday, September 1. During the closure, Health Services will be available in Room RC173 in the Student Recreation Centre. For more information or to book an appointment, call 519-748-5220 ext. 3679.


Door 4 at Doon closed: August 14-21, 2017

Door 4 in the main building at Doon will be closed from August 14 through 21 as the result of construction in the area. Access the building through Doors 3 or 5.


Sidewalk repairs at Woodworking Centre: August 14-21, 2017

Sidewalk repairs will be underway on the east side of the Woodworking Centre at Doon, near parking lots 1 and 2, from August 14 through 21. The Woodworking Centre will remain accessible through its main entrance while the works is completed.
