The driveway in front of the Conestoga Skilled Trades Campus on Reuter Drive in Cambridge is changing back to one-way traffic in order to implement a pedestrian walkway. These changes will remain in place for the duration of Phase 2 construction into summer 2026.
The Waterloo campus at 108 University Avenue East will be closed on Saturday, August 29, from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. for high-voltage preventive maintenance. During this time, entry to the building will not be permitted. Emergency power will remain operational.

AskOn, the online chat service for the library that helps with quick support with research, citations, and finding appropriate resources, will be unavailable from Monday, August 24, to Friday, September 4, with regular hours resuming on Tuesday, September 8.
All library locations will be closed on Wednesday, August 26, for a staff planning day, with regular hours and services resuming on Thursday, August 27.
Construction for a new Grand River Transit (GRT) station at the Kitchener - Doon campus began on August 10, 2026. As part of this project, the existing GRT bus stops located outside A-Wing (Door 3) will be closed from August 17, 2026, to August 31, 2026. During this period, GRT buses will be temporarily rerouted to the Student Recreation Centre transit stop. In addition, the following parking and access changes will be in effect: Parking Lots 4 and 5 will be permanently closed beginning August 10, 2026. Parking Lot 6 will be temporarily closed beginning August 10, 2026. Main Access Driveway 3 (off Doon Valley Drive) will be closed from August 17 to August 31, 2026. Access to Shipping & Receiving will be maintained through Parking Lot 3 during the driveway closure. Emergency vehicle access will be maintained throughout the construction period. Please allow extra time when travelling to campus and follow all posted signage and detour routes.
