Display your Laptop

To connect your laptop, start by turning on the projector.

 


  1. Turn on your laptop and cue up your presentation.
  2. Plug the cable labeled HDMI into your laptop.  The cable may be in the podium's monitor.  You may need to purchase an HDMI adaptor for your device.
  3. Select your Source - Laptop from the toggle controls. The light for the toggle will turn on.
  4. Give it a few seconds to receive the signal.
  5. Conduct an Audio Check.

Tips

If the display does not appear, try selecting changing the source to PC. Wait 5 seconds, then select Laptop again.  This may help the display to reconnect.

Protect your privacy. Go to your Start menu (PC) or Settings (Mac) and open your Display options. Choose whether to mirror or extend your display.  Mirroring your display will show your desktop to your audience. Extending your display will create a secondary clean screen.  Drag your program to the extended area to display it.


Display with Wi-Fi Source

You must use CC Secure as your wi-fi to use this connection. Video and audio work best when using your laptop or the podium's PC.

Using your Laptop

Download the Easy MP Network Projection Software before using.  Get familiar with using the connection. Contact Professional Development for training on using this technology.

  1. Select the Wi-Fi Source display source option on the podium. 
  2. On the blue display screen, you will see the Projector Name, an IP Address, and Keyword
  3. Open the Easy MP Network Connection software from your computer's Start menu.  
  4. Choose Advanced Connection Mode. Set this as your default.
  5. Choose Manual Search. 
  6. Enter the IP Address from the blue screen.
  7. Select the Projector, and click Connect.
  8. Enter the Keyword.
  9. Conduct an Audio Check.

You should now be connected to the Wi-Fi Source in your room.  

Use the Easy MP Network Connection Menu to Stop, Start, or Pause your displayor choose from multiple monitors to display. Minimize this menu box if not in use.

Using your iPad or Tablet

Download the Epson iProjection app from your device's app store.  Get familiar with using the connection. Contact Professional Development for training on using this technology.

Start by turning on the projector.


 

  1. Select the Wi-Fi Source display source option on the podium. 
  2. On the blue display screen, you will see an IP Address and Keyword
  3. On your device, open the Epson iProjection app.
  4. Choose Search by IP Address.  Enter the IP Address you see on the projection screen.
  5. If the projector appears on your list, select it and click Connect. If no projectors appear in your list, ensure you are connected to campus Wi-Fi: CCSecure.
  6. Enter the Keyword.
  7. You will see a Connection Successful notification on your device.  
  8. The projection screen will remain blank for your privacy until you choose the content you want to share.
  9. Select the Options icon (three parallel lines in the top left corner).
  10. Choose from Photos, Documents, or Web Page.  Find the content you want to display, and it will appear on the screen.  Please note, you are not able to display your device's home screen.
  11. Conduct an Audio Check.

To disconnect, select the Disconnect option.

Display the PC

Start by turning on the projector.

 
  1. Locate the ON button on the tower and press.  A blue light may indicate the PC is starting.  The PC may already be running.
  2. Sign in to the PC using your Condor ID and password.
  3. Once the display is ready, select PC from the toggle controls. The light for the toggle will turn on.
  4. Give it a few seconds to receive the signal.  
  5. The PC should display on the projector. 
  6. Conduct an Audio Check.

Tip

If the display does not appear, try selecting changing the source to Laptop. Wait 5 seconds, then select PC again.  This may help the display to reconnect.
