Partnerships
Through the Academic Training Partner Program, Conestoga College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning is granted a license for modelling software - Visual Paradigm for educational use.
Downloads for Everyone
Office 365
Download up to 5 free installations of Office 365 for your personal devices.
Add the apps for Outlook, OneDrive or other Microsoft products you use. This software is licensed for as long as your Conestoga College email address remains active.
Software at the Conestoga WebStore
The Conestoga Webstore has lots of software available for download, at either no cost or significantly reduced cost. Check back often for new software.
How to Download Software from the Conestoga WebStore
To be able to download software from the Conestoga WebStore have your Conestoga Email and password.
- Go to the Conestoga WebStore Login.
- Enter your Conestoga Email and password.
- Once you are in the Web Store, select whether you are a Student or Faculty/Staff.
- Choose your software product.
- If the product meets your needs, you can select Add to Cart.
- You will now be able to go to your Shopping Cart. Use the Delete button to remove any unwanted items, click Back to Shopping Cart or View Full Cart to complete the download.
- Click Check Out to order your software.
- If a notification message appears, read the message, and click Continue.
- Confirm your agreement with the License and Terms of Use by entering your username and typing your name in the fields.
- Confirm your order details and click Proceed with Order.
- An Order Confirmation window will appear, and you will be able to Download your Software.
- Continue to Install the Software.
How to Install the Software
- Double-click the software's executable file (softwarename.exe). If the software was downloaded, it appears at the bottom of your browser or in your Downloads folder.
- Read and follow the prompts as each window opens, clicking Next, Accept, or Continue. Do not change any default settings.
- Once all steps have been completed, click Finish.
- You should now able to find the software in your computer's Start menu or App Launcher
Software from Azure Dev Tools for Teaching
Azure Dev Tools for Teaching has many Microsoft software packages available for download for no cost. Log in with your Conestoga email to see what you are eligible for.
Downloads for Students (academic use only)
The following software is available for download as well. These aren't found in the Microsoft Web Store.
Adobe Creative Cloud
Option 1: Eligible students can download Adobe Apps directly from Adobe.com. If you are unsure if your program or course is eligible, please reach out to your Program Administrator or Instructor to confirm. You will need to sign in using your Conestoga email address. Instruction on downloading apps can be found at https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/using/download-creative-cloud-apps.html
Altium Designer
Option 1: Download Altium Designer directly from www.altium.com. Only students provided with a login from their instructor will be able to use the software. Note: Windows only
Android Studio

ArtiosCAD

- You will receive an email from Bluebeam once they have approved your application. This process can take up to a week or more.
- After obtaining a license, download Bluebeam

Employees needing an Adobe Acrobat or Creative Cloud subscription must complete the Adobe Access Request form on the IT Service Requests page.
DataLink Connect
Option 1: Download Datalink Connect from the manufacturer (Apperson) Mac and Windows
Option 2: Install from the f: drive. Only available on campus computers
- Open your computer's File Explorer.
- Double click the Apps (F:) Drive to open it up.
- Locate the folder called ITS and double-click it to open it.
- Find the folder called Datalink and double-click to open it.
- Choose the file called Setup.exe and double-click to open it.
- A window will appear with the text "Do you want this app from an unknown publisher to make changes to your PC?" Choose Yes.
- The DataLink Connect Setup Wizard will begin. Click Next to continue.
- Choose to Install just for me, and click Next.
- Accept the default destination folder by clicking Next.
- Accept the Start Menu default location by clicking Next.
- Once this is completed, click Next.
- Complete the setup by clicking Finish.
- DataLink Connect will automatically open.
- Proceed to Getting Started with DataLink Connect.

With Mentimeter you can build interactive presentations with an easy-to-use online editor, directly from your browser. When you present, participants use their smartphones or laptops to answer questions, give feedback, and much more. Their responses are visualized in real-time, creating a unique and interactive experience.

Padlet
Padlet is a digital tool that can help teachers and students in class and beyond by offering a single place for a notice board. This digital notice board is able to feature images, links, videos, and documents, all collated on a "wall" that can be made public or private. This means that not only can teachers post on the wall but so too can students. Reference: Tech & Learning

Panopto
Panopto is Conestoga's cloud-based lecture capture and video management system that allows for easy recording and reviewing of videos from courses, lectures, and presentations. Panopto integrates with Zoom and D2L to provide a user-friendly video streaming platform viewable on most web browsers and mobile devices.
