Construction is scheduled for the Waterloo campus at 108 University Ave. East, from Monday, November 13, 2023, to Tuesday, December 31, 2024. During this time, Waterloo Main Building Level 1 of the D- and E-Wings, part of the Level 1 B-Wing, the west parking lot, the north laneway and the former Sonny’s property will be closed.
To enhance your experience, the Coze Corner is undergoing a major renovation and, as a result, will be closed until the new year. We look forward to welcoming you back in January 2025 to an all-new, beautifully renovated space.
The Atrium and Student Life Centre located on levels 1 and 2 of the A-Wing at the Kitchener - Doon campus will be closed for renovations from Tuesday, July 30, 2024, until the end of June 2025. This will affect all access to the Atrium and both levels of the Student Life Centre corridors. Access to the Venue and Tim Hortons will be accessible and will not be affected by this renovation. Construction is expected to be noisy at times.
City of Kitchener construction has expanded onto the sidewalk along the side of the building, restricting access to the front doors depending on the time of day. Follow construction signage on Duke Street to enter the building from the front doors or go through the mall entrances.
As a result of scheduled IT maintenance on Saturday, October 19 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., all websites except the IT website and AllThingsConestoga may incur brief outages lasting about an hour. Core enterprise applications such as email, MS Teams, eConestoga, Zoom, Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft 365 will continue to be available.
Scheduled IT maintenance on Saturday, October 19 starting at 10:00 p.m. will affect the wi-fi network across all campuses for 4.5 hours. Cable connectivity will remain available.

Parking lot 10 will be the designated service point for regular GRT and GRT MobilityPlus bus stations on Tuesday, October 22 or Wednesday, October 23, in case of rain. All buses will be moved through lot 10, exiting by the Welcome Centre, with temporary stations created on the right half of lot 10. This temporary change is required while paving is underway.
Power will be shut down at the Kitchener - Doon campus in the Conestoga Student Recreation Centre and Transition Classroom Building on Thursday, October 24 from 5 a.m. to 12 p.m.
