Construction is scheduled for the Waterloo campus at 108 University Ave. East, from Monday, November 13, 2023, to Tuesday, December 31, 2024. During this time, Waterloo Main Building Level 1 of the D- and E-Wings, part of the Level 1 B-Wing, the west parking lot, the north laneway and the former Sonny’s property will be closed.
The second-floor washrooms of the Kitchener - Doon campus Welcome Centre will be closed from Friday, April 12, to Friday, August 30, 2024, for renovations. Ground floor washrooms will remain operational during this time.
The central parking lot at the Cambridge - Reuter Drive (Skilled Trades) campus will be closed from Monday, April 22, to Monday, September 2, 2024. The east parking lot will remain open, and a pedestrian walkway will be available. Accessible parking will be available in the west parking lot.
To enhance your experience, the Coze Corner is undergoing a major renovation and, as a result, will be closed until the new year. We look forward to welcoming you back in January 2025 to an all-new, beautifully renovated space.
Elevator 2 at the Cambridge - Fountain Street campus will be out of service for four to six weeks starting July 17, 2024. Elevator 1 can be used to access all three levels of the building.
The road behind the Student Recreation Centre at the Kitchener - Doon campus will be closed from Sunday, July 28, to Friday, August 2, 2024. GRT buses and vehicle traffic will be detoured during this time. This closure will not impact the drop-off area and parking at the Early Childhood Education (ECE) building; there is no planned interruption to vehicle traffic, including bus routes around the ECE building. Pedestrians must be aware of this work if they walk within the area.
Pedestrian traffic will be redirected between the ATS Engineering Complex, Transition Classroom Building (TCB), and the Student Recreation Centre at the Kitchener - Doon campus from Monday, July 29, to Friday, August 16, 2024, due to excavation and underground work in the area.
The Cambridge - Reuter Drive (Skilled Trades) campus will be closed for electrical work on Monday, July 29, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. There will be no access to the building during this time. Emergency power will remain operational.
