Construction is scheduled for the Waterloo campus at 108 University Ave. East, from Monday, November 13, 2023, to Tuesday, December 31, 2024. During this time, Waterloo Main Building Level 1 of the D- and E-Wings, part of the Level 1 B-Wing, the west parking lot, the north laneway and the former Sonny’s property will be closed.
To enhance your experience, the Coze Corner is undergoing a major renovation and, as a result, will be closed until the new year. We look forward to welcoming you back in January 2025 to an all-new, beautifully renovated space.
The Atrium and Student Life Centre located on levels 1 and 2 of the A-Wing at the Kitchener - Doon campus will be closed for renovations from Tuesday, July 30, 2024, until the end of June 2025. This will affect all access to the Atrium and both levels of the Student Life Centre corridors. Access to the Venue and Tim Hortons will be accessible and will not be affected by this renovation. Construction is expected to be noisy at times.
The B-Wing loading dock at the Doon main building will be closed on Friday, November 29 at 7 a.m. for installation of a new hydraulic dock lift table. Entry to the dock area will be closed to all vehicles and any deliveries during this time need to be rescheduled. The loading dock will be available for regular operations at on Tuesday, December 3 at 5 a.m.
A portion of parking lot 10 will be blocked off after 6 p.m. on Monday, November 25 to allow crane and truck access for contractors to hoist mechanical rooftop units. This partial closure will continue for about eight hours on Tuesday, November 26. Access to the parking lot will remain open. Avoid entering the restricted area and follow the directional signs for parking.
